Bob Steenlage, Britt (77-7-2) 1959-62
Steenlage overcame tragic family circumstances to win four titles.
Jeff Kerber, Emmetsburg (126-0) 1976-79
Kerber was Iowa's first undefeated four-time state champ.
Scott Morningstar, Lisbon (115-1-1) 1977-80
Joe Gibbons, Waterloo Columbus and Ames (105-5) 1978-81
Gibbons was the first and still only four-time champ to split his titles at two schools.
Greg Randall, Mount Vernon (120-3-2) 1979-82
Four years in a row the Iowa High School wrestling programs produced four-time champions.

Shane Light, Lisbon (130-9)

1987-90
Lisbon became the first school to produce two four-time State Champions.

Jeff McGinness, Iowa City, City High (172-0)

Jason Keenan, Ogden (119-1)

Eric Juergens, Maquoketa (144-0) 1993-96
Juergens won his first three titles in Class 3A and the final one in 2A.
Jesse Sundell, Ogden (134-1) 1998-2001
Ogden joins Lisbon as the only schools to produce a pair of four-time champs.
C.J. Ettelson, Hudson (161-3) 2000-03
Ettelson won his first three titles in Class 2A, the final one in 1A.
Ended career with 149-match win streak. 
Was the first 4-timer who didn't win his first title at the lowest weight class.
Mack Reiter, Don Bosco (Gilbertville) (182-3) 2000-03
Reiter set the state career pins record at 135 (more than 10 of the four-timers had career wins).
In his final 12 matches at State, Mack had 10 falls, one major decision and a technical fall.
Reiter and Ettelson became the first four-time champs to be crowned in the same season.
