103 - Joe Colon of Clear Lake (black) won 11-9 over Levi Wolfensperger of Denver-Tripoli, in a battle between undefeated wrestlers.
    
    
112 - Andrew Long of Creston (gold) won 21-7 over freshman Blake Sorensen of Denver-Tripoli. 
It was the second State title for the junior, who won at 103 last season. 
    
    
119 - Dillon Miner of Spirit Lake Park (black) pinned Tannor Burke of Crestwood (Cresco) in 3:50. 
    
    
125 - In a battle between 2006 State champs, Kyle Pedretti (gold) won 6-5 in overtime against J.J. Krutsinger of Waterloo Columbus. The two wrestlers met four times this season, with each winning twice. Pedretti was named the Class 2A Outstanding Wrestler of the tournament.
    
    
130 - Brandon Ball of Columbus Junction (black) scored a big five-point move in the first period and made it hold up in an 8-6 victory over Bret Kautz of Creston.
    
    
135 - After scoring a wild come-from-behind victory in the semifinals, Blake Hilmer of Denver-Tripoli (orange) did the same in the title bout and scored a 10-7 victory over Matt Stillman of Emmetsburg.
    
    
140 - Cody Stanley of Wilton (yellow) capped off a perfect 39-0 season with a 4-1 victory over Ben Knight of Sergeant Bluff-Luton. It was the third runner-up finish at State in four years for Knight. It was the first time Stanley placed at State.
    
    
145 - T.J. Moen of Saydel (white) avenged his only loss of the season and became the first wrestler in Saydel school history to win two State wrestling championships, with a thrilling 6-5 win over sophomore Trent Weatherman of Ballard. It was the second consecutive runner-up finish at State for Weatherman. Moen reached the finals in three of his four seasons. 
    
    
152 - Forest City senior Andrew Sorenson (red) capped off a perfect season with a pin in 4:53 over Jared Ramsey of Ballard.
    
    
160 - Kalab Evans of Creston (gold) won 9-3 over Jacob Ryan of Mount Vernon. Evans added the gold medal to the silver and bronze ones he claimed his first two high school seasons at Lenox. 
    
    
171 - Ryan Ketelsen of Osage (green) handed Josh Ihnen of Sheldon-South O'Brien his first loss of the season with a 3-2 victory. 
    
    
189 - Vinnie Wagner of Osage (green) followed up his teammate's title performance with a 5-2 win over Luke Stika of Crestwood (Cresco). Wagner finished on top of the award stand after a pair of third-place finishes and a runner-up effort last season. 
    
    
215 - Kyle Simonson of Algona (black) scored a 6-5 victory over John Helgerson of North Fayette.
    
    
285 - Blake Rasing of New Hampton (black) moved to a perfect 37-0 on the season with a 3-2 win over Brian Rodas of MFL MarMac.
