Haley rode out Smith in the first 30-second tiebreaker period and escaped in the second one, for the one-point victory.
119 - No. 4 Jake Demmon (41-2) of Eddyville-Blakesburg (black) scored an escape and takedown in the final 15 seconds to force overtime against No. 10 Jeff Ohnemus (41-6) of Nodaway Valley and won with a takedown in the extra period.
Ohnemus defeated Branden Cline of Lenox in a wrestle back to qualify for State.

135 - No. 5 Caleb Hopkins (42-1) of Coon Rapids-Bayard (red) won 9-4 over Garrett Young (36-7) of Interstate 35.
140 - Top-ranked Sam Groves (43-0) of Nodaway Valley (black) won 12-2 over Tucker Young (35-8) of Interstate 35.

Hosfield still qualified for State with a 12-6 victory over Colton Calvert of Interstate 35 in the wrestle back.
189 - Third-ranked Trent VanDorin (40-1) of Eddyville-Blakesburg (black) won 6-2 over No. 10 Taylor Halstead (42-10) of Coon Rapids-Bayard.
Halstead will make the trip to State after a 4-1 wrestle back win over Trevor Jorgensen of Guthrie Center.

285 - Fourth-ranked Levi Morris (36-4) of Nodaway Valley (black) evened his season series with No. 5 John Bunch (31-3) of Martensdale-St. Marys at two wins apiece, with a 3-1 victory. Bunch made it to State with a win over Dylan Lame of Mount Ayr in the wrestle back.
