1st Period: Logan Edgington of Indianola gets the first takedown. Thirty seconds later John Nicholson gets the escape to head into the second period trailing 2-1.
2nd Period: Edgington chooses down and gets the escape. With both wrestlers shooting and countering this is where the period ended with Edgington up 3-1.
3rd Period: Nicholson then chooses down. After thirty seconds Nicholson gets the escape to come within one. Then with 26 seconds left in the match, Nicholson gets the takedown at the edge of the mat to go up 4-3. John the rides Logan out to win the match.
