1st Period: Caldwell scored 1st on a takedown with an escape by Welter shortly thereafter for a 2-1 Caldwell lead at the end of the 1st.
2nd Period: Welter chose down but was ridden out the entire period.
3rd Period: Caldwell took neutral, then took Welter down and rode him out the rest of the period to win 4-1
