Barkac started off the match with a takedown and added two more in the first period for a 3-0 lead. Another takedown to start the second made it 4-0 before Jensen earned a point for Barkac fleeing the mat. A takedown and two exposure points for Barkac made it 7-1. Jensen got a late reversal and exposure point to make it a 7-3 final.

Mansfield took an early lead with a nice high crotch for a one-point takedown in the first period. The two wrestlers went into the break with Mansfield holding that same 1-0 lead. Mansfield used two more nice takedowns in the third to go up 3-0 and hit a double leg takedown and took Ross to his back in the final seconds for the final margin of victory.
