IWCOA announces District Meetings

Coaches and Officials nominate a deserving 1A, 2A, & 3A coach  and official from your district  and send completed form to your district chairman by mail, E-mail or Fax.  Mark the meeting date on your calendar and plan to attend. The form and list of coaches and officials from your district is listed in this newspaper.  Duplicate the nomination form and be sure your assistants have an opportunity to nominate coaches and officials.  Only the top four nominees in each category will be placed on the ballot, so their nominations are very important.
     In addition to selecting coaches & officials of the year, any changes in wrestling which you feel could benefit the sport of wrestling will be discussed and if selected, put on the agenda for the coaches advisory meeting next April.  Also on the agenda will be the selection of a new coach and official to serve as  district chairmen for the 2009-2010 season.
    The conclusion of the scheduled wrestling season is a good time to review what is going on in our sport.  You won't want to miss this meeting.
