2005 AAU Elementary National Duals

Iowa team makes it 3 titles in 4 years

The 2005 AAU Wrestling Elementary National Duals Team Championship took place in Kingsport, Tenn. from April 15-17, 2005.

It was the largest contingent of AAU elementary wrestlers in Kingsport's six-year history of hosting the event.

Each year, the AAU Wrestling Elementary National Duals Team Championship brings teams from wrestling-rich states like Iowa, Illinois and Michigan. With this kind of competition, spectators to the event have the opportunity to watch the country’s top elementary dual teams compete.

The AAU Wrestling Elementary National Duals was a dual meet formatted national tournament that follows National Federation of High School Athletic Association (NFHS) rules for athletes in kindergarten through fifth grades.
